Biography
Tonny learned the art of painting at a young age in his father's studio. It soon became apparent that he was very talented. At the Exposition Surréaliste at Galerie Pierre in Paris, he attracted the attention of international collectors. His fame led to several exhibitions throughout Europe in the 1930s. From 1949 Tonny withdrew from the international art world and led a secluded life. Nevertheless, he painted his best works during this period.
