This beautiful heliogravure is a faithful representation of one of Rembrandt van Rijn's most emblematic etchings, "The Three Trees" from 1643. This 1904 reproduction, made by the Amsterdam firm Roeloffzen, Hubner & Van Santen, illustrates the technical skill with which Rembrandt's original etchings were imitated.
