Shipping/pick up:

Upon purchase, the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande (near The Hague (Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The period for collection, with advance payment, is very generous, i.e. the buyer can collect the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to one of the above-mentioned cities or the beach. We can also send the work to you, insured.
Our shipping days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Hans Leijerzapf was born in Leiden in 1951. In 1974 he graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in graphics and painting. At the Academy Hans already had a preference for anecdotal painting and drawing and believed that art should not be "sublime", but rather part of society. Over the years he developed his style and choice of subjects. Hans Leijerzapf has something with men who are busy with everyday or unusual objects.

They are often awkward poses, as if the men are doing something useless and the object is of no importance at all.
