Jean and Marianne BREMERS (Artist duo since 1980)
Jean Bremers (1935) and Marianne Bremers-Deiman (1943) were educated at various art academies and studied art history together at the Catholic University of Nijmegen.
Since 1980 they have jointly made figurative bronze sculptures, especially human and animal figures, in which the suggestion of movement often plays a role. The couple lives and works in Helvoirt and signs as JeanMarianne Bremers and/or with the composite monogram JMB. They have an impressive list of statues in public spaces.
