Education: Constant studied from 1939 to 1942 at the Applied Arts School and the State Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam. Lived and worked in Amsterdam.

After meeting Asger Jorn, fantasy animals, aggressive and frightening, and human figures appeared in his paintings. In 1950 the war paintings were created.
