Gino Cenedese founded glass factory Gino Cenedese & C. in 1946 after the end of World War II with Angelo Tosi, Alfredo Barbini, Gino Fort and Peitro Scaramal by his side. From 1949 he led Cenedese alone. The company specializes in both traditional and modern glass art. From the 1950s, Cenedese collaborated with designers such as Riccardo Licata, Fulvio Bianconi, Napoleone Martinuzzi and Antonio Da Ros.
Cenedese has a very extensive and diverse oeuvre. Africa often comes back as inspiration for collections. For example, Cenedese has a Masai and Savannah collections. The company also takes inspiration from nature and mystery for the Galassia, Anamoni and Vulcano collections, for example. Today, Cenedese operates under Seguso, who owns Ars Cenedese Murano.
