Bengt Karl Erik Lindström (September 3, 1925 – January 29, 2008) was a Swedish artist. Lindstr_m became __one of Sweden's best-known contemporary artists with a distinctive style of different colors. His expressionistic pasty portraits are characteristic. Lindstr_m was born in 1925 in H_rjedalen, Sweden. In 1944 he studied at the art academy in Stockholm. His teacher was the Swedish painter Isaac Gr_newald. A year later he continued his studies at the academy in Copenhagen. He subsequently moved to Chicago where he studied at The Chicago Art Institute. In 1948 he moved to Paris where he studied with Fernand L_ger, among others. Lindstrom continues to live in France throughout his artistic career.
