Education:
Ans van Dijk went to the Art Academy in Den Bosch from 1984, then she studied from 1988 at the Art Academy in Florence.
From 1989 Ans van Dijk started working as a graphic designer and illustrator, which she combined with giving painting lessons. Since 1997 she has devoted herself entirely to making art. Initially, her work was a synthesis of classic watercolor, graphic division and a modern composition. Since 1999, Van Dijk has mainly worked with acrylic on linen and made graphics. Inspiration for her work are the magical realists.
