Willem Hendrik Mühlstaff was born in Den Bosch on 4 December 1894 and died in Zaanstad on 27 May 1982.
Educated at the Royal School of Fine Arts in Den Bosch, the Institute for the Training of Drawing Teachers in Amsterdam. Pupil of HP Bremmer and Huib Luns. Later a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam.
Lithographer, draftsman, painter.
Member of the drawing and painting society "Ars Aemula Naturae" in Leiden.
