Beautiful print by Toyohara Kunichika
I offer you this print by Kunichika. According to the translation (see source) it is a role of a Baishu seller by the (then) famous actor Nakamura Kanjaku.
It is unknown to me from which Kabuki piece this is.
On the back it says that it is a print from around 1880. According to the source (see below) the original print is from 1872. That would mean that this is an original or a very early reprint. Because the print is professionally framed I have not removed it from the frame to verify.
