Beerendonk has built up an impressive oeuvre with still lifes, portraits, nudes but also abstract work. Theo Beerendonk studied between 1925 and 1931 at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. In 1966 Beerendonk was appointed curator at the Rembrandt House, where he gave demonstrations of etching art.
