Een zeer fraaie zeefdruk van Rik van Iersel uit 1998.
Destijds uitgegeven door Galerie Willy Schoots in een oplage van slechts 60 stuks.
Gesigneerd en genummerd en heeft de afmeting: 58 x 50 cm.
Geboren in Maastricht. Woont en werkt in Eindhoven. Autodidact.
Hij heeft een reeks exposities achter zich, waarbij telkens eigenzinnige catalogi verschenen. Van Iersel is zeer nieuwsgierig naar materialen, naar media en naar het leven zelf. Als achttienjarige ontwerpt hij affiches voor popconcerten van de Effenaar. Hij tekent strips, drumt in Der Junge Hund en maakt zijn eerste grote kleurrijke expressionistische schilderijen die meteen tot een solo-expositie bij Galerie Willy Schoots leiden. In de jaren die volgen exposeert Rik van Iersel in Amsterdam, Berlijn, Hamburg, New York en San Francisco.
