Beautiful peacock plate from Potterie Oud Delft painted by Peter Brinkhoff in the period 1935 -1940. (the logo was only introduced from 1935 onwards.
This decor was already painted in the 17th century, among others by the Metale Blompot, the Drie Klokken, the Porceleyne Klaauw and would have been used when the farmers had re-whitewashed the stable. To keep evil out, these signs were hung there.
The board is in very good condition and quite rare in this size.
