Miho Šiša Konavljanin was born in 1946 in the village of Mihaniči, where he lived and worked until his death in 2017. Throughout his life he successfully combined the work and life of a farmer and artist in Konavle.
Šiša's painting and other artistic activities are entirely tied to Konavle and life there. In his works he tries to rescue the hardships and beauty of Konavle's peasant life from oblivion. In his gallery in his birthplace Mihanići, visitors can experience Šiša's works first hand, which are precise chronicles of Konavle's past.
