- Anton Ludwig Reelfs ('Loe') born Amsterdam 25 February 1877, died Amsterdam 17 March 1953. Lived and worked locally (Watergraafsmeer 1903), Paris, Blaricum until 1913, then in Amsterdam.
Pupil at the Drawing School 'Felix Meritis' in this city, at the age of 20 lessons from CL Dake and N. van der Waay, later also from Hobbe Smith, Evert Pieters and Piet Mondriaan. Also studied and worked in Paris.
Painted and drew flowers, still lifes, portraits, figures (girl smoking cigarette). Was from 1903 member of 'Arti et Amicitiae' and 'St. Lucas' in Amsterdam.
