The installation Wirtschaftswerte (Economic Values) by Joseph Beuys was first seen in Ghent in 1980. The conceptual work consists of packages of typical food products and everyday objects from the former GDR on sparsely stocked, simple iron shelves as an antithesis to the surplus of products in supermarkets in the West – a critique of a society based on disposable items and the misuse of resources that are essential are for life.

The authenticity of the work offered is fully guaranteed. A certificate of authenticity can be supplied upon request.
