John Bier (Santpoort, December 17, 1936) is a Dutch sculptor and draftsman.
Bier was a student at the Institute for Applied Arts Education in Amsterdam from 1954 to 1958. When he was three years old, he moved with his parents to Alkmaar, where he still lives and works. People play an important role in Bier's work.
One of his better-known images is that of beach explorer Simon Gutker (1897-1988), which was placed at the end of the Hondsbosche Zeewering near Camperduin.
