Johannes ('Jan') Voets , born in Dongen (North Brabant), sculptor, graphic artist, painter and draftsman. Variant name: ' Jamper '. He signed his work with 'Jamper'.

From 1973 to 2002 he was a teacher at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague.
Jan Voets was a member of the artists' association 'Haagse Kunstkring'.
