Jaap Luteyn - Brachiognatus myrmecophagus (Non-existent beetle that eats ants)

Jaap Luteyn attaches great importance to explaining his working methods and techniques, especially after misunderstandings about this arose. His drawings always have a white border around them, which is created by taping off his drawing before he makes it. He then removes the tape and thus obtains a nice, tight frame. Luteyn's work is always one unique piece, so no lithograph, etching or silkscreen with an edition. Techniques: Pencil (graphite) and coloured pencil. Pastel , pastel pencil and pastel chalk. Watercolour paint and watercolour pencil.
