On each cup and plate the portrait of Alexander the Great surrounded by a free decorative ring, around it four gold-coloured lions and on the edge of each plate Hellenistic masks and free decorations in gold print, all painted on a background of Persian red and black. You can see how skilled the artist is: it looks as if Alexander's head has flaked off, but that is not really the case: the decay is depicted lifelike! The glaze is of course intact.
Each piece from this porcelain collection is a collector's item in advance. As a Bonus, we offer a unique item with this complete set: a large presentation dish (diameter 30 centimeters). This dish is the basic design that served as a model for the decoration of the entire line. This dish is signed by the artist on the back! Unique!
All parts are guaranteed new condition: no flints or cracks, everything completely intact. Never used, kept in original box! The work was purchased from the director of the company that commissioned Bierenbroodspot to produce.
