Information about the artist:
Fabrice Hünd (Amsterdam, July 24, 1961 – Amsterdam, December 31, 2021), working as an artist under the name Fabrice, was a Dutch visual artist: muralist, painter and monumental artist.
-Education: Teacher training in drawing at the Bouwman Academy, Amsterdam from 1977 to 1979.
State Academy of Fine Arts, Amsterdam from 1980 to 1985.
After his training, Fabrice became famous, partly due to the many colorful murals he made in public spaces in Amsterdam.
Between 1985 and 1990, Fabrice won the FC Uriot Prize twice with his autonomous paintings.
His idiosyncratic, original art often has dancing lines and expressive colours. He himself was recognisable by his clothing and appearance.
Fabrice has exhibited at home and abroad and has had his own Galerotiek in his studio on the Jacob van Lennepkade (Amsterdam, Oud-West) since 2011. In 2012 he painted a portrait of actress Anne Wil Blankers in the television program Sterren op het doek.
Fabrice Hünd died in Amsterdam at the age of 60.
