Evert Slegers (1948) started drawing and painting at a young age and was captivated by the way of working of the expressionists.
With that basis and the inspiration he gained during his study trips to Northern France, Paris, Provence, Switzerland and Tuscany, he later developed his own style. His oeuvre includes paintings of landscapes, still lifes, abstracts, portraits, figures and clowns.
