In 1954 this image was used as a poster for an exhibition in the Bonnefanten museum in Maastricht under the name "the French poster". This print had letters on the image. The copy in question does not have these letters and was printed again by the artist in 1993, in its most original form, hence the dating 54-93.
Edition unknown. Hand dated and signed lower right. In very good condition, framed behind glass/plastic.
