A.C. Wijnstroom woonde en werkte voornamelijk in Amsterdam. Leerling van de Akademie v. B.K. te Antwerpen o.l.v. R. Looymans, van de Akademie Julian te Parijs, o.l.v. J.P. Laurens en van de Rijksakademie te Amsterdam onder meer o.l.v. N. Van der Waay. Schilder van landschappen, bosgezichten, figuren en portretten. Het Goois Museum heeft werk van hem.
