C. de Zeeuw is het pseudoniem van A.C.W. Terhell. Hij is vooral bekend door zijn aquarellen (meest landschappen, strand- en zeegezichten en enkele stadsgezichten). Terhell gaf les aan V. Leonhardt-Wirix.
Hij signeerde ook als Charles Petit, Jean le Blanc, J. Brants en Cornelis de Zeeuw - Staat vermeld in de Pieter Scheen.
