Adriaan Keus worked as an artist in The Hague as well as in Putten (Gelderland), Baarn and Soest (Utrecht). As a painter, watercolourist and draughtsman, he is best known for his (forest) landscapes. Keus was a member of Pulchri Studio in The Hague and of Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam.
