Ab Wagenvoort (1934-1998) Born in Deventer, later living in Voorburg. He used to be a craft teacher, and later a fairly successful photographer. Wagenvoort's love for photography began in 1988. His first exhibition consisted of a series of photos from a trip to Mexico. Wagenvoort has exhibited at least 200 times at home and abroad. He received the ArtiShock prize in 2001 and discovered macro photography in 1996, in which details are greatly magnified. He was a member of the Rijswijk Artists Association Arti Shock Ab Wagenvoort is the father of Saskia Wagenvoort, she is now also a successful photographer.
