The Window Group was a group of young graphic artists in Rotterdam who stood out in the early 1950s for their color lithographs. Until then, graphic artists had mainly limited themselves to the use of black and white color. What is even more striking about the Window Group is that they 'worked on the stone' with their own hands for the printing of their lithographs. This is reflected in the end result.
