International Council of Design

The International Council of Design (ico-D), formerly known as International Council of Graphic Design Associations, is a global organization for design professionals. The organization arose at a time when graphic design as a profession was growing and there was not yet an international organization to represent this profession. Various organisations, institutions and individuals are affiliated with ico-D. What the members have in common is a shared interest in professional design.
