Drents Painting Society

The Drents Schildergenootschap was founded by a number of artists who had split off from the Drentse Schilders art circle. The aim of the Drents Schildergenootschap was to hold exhibitions in and outside Drenthe. Membership had stricter rules than with the Drenthe Painters. Nowadays, the Drents Schildergenootschap also has more artists than just painters, but also graphic artists, ceramists, graphic designers and object makers.
