The Toyists

The Toyisten consists of a group of artists who represent the ideas of Toyism. This international art movement has a figurative style, originated by and inspired by the arrival of the game computer Nintento and the equally popular game Super Mario, but also as a reaction to existing art styles and movements. The urge for innovation creates a lively visual language with bright colours, sharp boundaries and imaginative depictions.
